Classroom Timer has no account creation, sign-in, purchase flow, donation flow, newsletter, or feedback form of any kind. There is no field anywhere in the extension where you are asked to type your name, email address, phone number, payment information, or any other personal detail.

The extension does not automatically collect device or usage information of any kind: no IP address, no location, no device identifiers, no browser or operating system details, no click or navigation data, and no error logs are gathered or transmitted anywhere.
The extension uses no cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies, either in the extension itself or on this page.

How We Use Your Information
Because no information about you is collected, none is used. The one exception is entirely local: the extension saves your last-used timer duration, alarm sound, and light/dark theme preference, and the state of an active countdown, using your browser's local storage on your own device. This local data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, is never analyzed, and is used only to restore your preferences the next time you open the timer.

There is no server on which user data is stored, so there is no server-side data to secure. The only information related to your use of the extension lives in your browser's local storage on your own device, protected by the normal security of your operating system and browser profile.
Children
Classroom Timer is built for classroom use and is expected to be used by students, including children. Because this Policy applies equally to every user regardless of age, and because we collect no personal information from anyone — adult or child — there is no personal information belonging to a child for us to collect, store, or disclose. This is true whether the extension is opened by a teacher, displayed on a shared classroom screen, or used directly by a student.
Data Retention
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. Information stored locally in your browser (your last-used settings, described above) remains on your device until you clear your browser data or remove the extension, at which point it is deleted along with everything else the extension stored.

The extension contains no links to third-party websites, no embedded third-party widgets or plug-ins, and no embedded third-party services of any kind.

We will continue to evaluate this Policy as the extension evolves. If we ever make a change, we will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date above.
